We are located on 5 1/2 acres in the Western Pennsylvania area.

In 1984 we purchased our first real show dog from
Dan and Karen Black of Schwarz Der Wald's Kennels.
She became our first Champion!

Everyone knows once you get that first Champion your hooked to dog shows for life.
Here at Adelhund Shepherds we strive to breed the Total Dog.
We have over 25 years experience competing in the breed and obedience rings with our dogs.
We have several champions who also have dual title awards.
Our dogs are mostly owner/breeder handled in both rings.

Adelhund Shepherds evolved from a young girls dream of one day owning
her own German Shepherd Dog.
After years of begging , my parents finally presented me with my first dog for my 16th birthday.
She became my best friend and loyal companion for 11 years.

Shannon earned her CD title in the first 3 trials she was entered in.
She is shown to the left performing one of her favorite tricks she had learned.
She truly was one of kind.....still loved and missed.
